We were founded by a group of extraordinary people who found the vision to work for a better social climate on a local level. Many were actively involved in the quest for marriage equality in 2008 and continued this work by working to have Proposition 8 overturned and changing opinions in Orange County through outreach. In addition to marriage equality, they united us more than ever as a community of people for equality and used their voices to oppose discrimination.
We especially want to honor the late Katherine Darmer. Her passion and contributions echo through our efforts and we will always be grateful for her friendship and service.
